The Energist · Detroit, MI
Terrell is a Detroit-based multidisciplinary creative, visionary artist, and energy consultant operating at the intersection of symbolic cognition, anthropology, and consciousness. He founded The Energist not as a brand but as a framework — a living philosophy built from lived experience, deep pattern recognition, and an unwavering commitment to authentic meaning.
A member of the Parapsychological Association and a graduate with a background spanning art, administration, performance, and systems thinking, Terrell brings an unusually layered intelligence to every reading. He does not prescribe meaning — he helps people find the meaning already moving through their lives.
Terrell found his passion for reading in his first year of college. Studying many different books trying to understand his gift from childhood; he began his practice at Mama Tracys in Dearborn Heights. Now totalling over 6 years in experience, as an intuitive practitioner, Terrell can give readings via Tarot, Hand Drawings, and other Intuitive Methods. For mediumship he prefers drawing so clients can follow along.
"We all have meaning in our lives but the meaning we create is the most powerful."
This philosophy shapes every session, every reading, and every object in Terrell's collection. The Energist doesn't prescribe rituals or crystals. The work is about helping you read the room — the room of your own life, relationships, and patterns — and shift what needs shifting.
Based in Detroit. Present everywhere energy moves.
Objects, encounters, and synchronicities that arrived at exactly the right moment.
Found 40 minutes from an oil change while lost — a 100-year-old leather-bound Grolier Society encyclopedia. Volume 13. A page fell out on its own: Fra Angelico, the artist-monk of Florence who never picked up a brush without prayer.
Found ObjectAn hour of negotiating in Spanish in Miami. AAA stainless steel. 4+ years through chlorine, saltwater, and every pool in between — not a single spot of rust. Some things are earned, not purchased.
Acquired ObjectHigh iron-nickel content, magnetically charged. Material that fell from outside Earth's atmosphere, predating every human civilization and every symbol ever carved. Worn daily.
Cosmic ObjectFound after graduation. Stainless steel, the size of a nickel. From a trusted source with a history. Not magnetic. Not prescribed. It arrived when it was supposed to — worn alongside the meteorite, the two form a cosmological pairing: cosmic and earthly, roots and stars.
